Aujourd\u2019hui, le contexte des Ateliers et la fluidit\u00e9 des communications ne restreignent pas le voyageur aux m\u00e9ditations solitaires sur l\u2019Acropole.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><span style=\"color: #9595db;\">The ENSAPLV international workshops follow on the long educational tradition of exchanges abroad. Journey through the world has ever been seen as a committed action. Now it\u2019s part of an intellectual, technical and professional necessity to create networks and enter the market.<br \/>\nIndeed we are far from the Grand Tour and the maiden trip at the very origin of our arts when Charles-Edouard Jeanneret became Le Corbusier looking for inspiration under the eastern night sky. Today, workshop activities and the flow of information do not restrain travellers from solitary meditation up in the Acropolis.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">.<\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><span style=\"color: #e0e0e0;\"> Du temps du voyage qui forge les certitudes des canons \u00e0 venir, nous sommes entr\u00e9s dans celui d\u2019une interrogation plan\u00e9taire sur les mutations de nos territoires, le d\u00e9sir d\u2019une urbanit\u00e9 retrouv\u00e9e, la recherche d\u2019alternatives qui engagent de nouvelles pratiques professionnelles . Nouvelle \u00e8re et nouveaux regards qui embrassent indiff\u00e9remment nos espaces patrimoniaux comme nos friches et paysages industriels en r\u00e9v\u00e9lant leur histoire, leur richesse de sens et leur potentiel po\u00e9tique&#8230; Mais aussi leur fragilit\u00e9 et la promesse d\u2019un habitat en devenir. Au-del\u00e0 de ces th\u00e9matiques, le mode lui-m\u00eame de ces r\u00e9flexions n\u2019est plus celui du voyageur \u00ab stendhalien \u00bb consignant ses ressentis dans son journal,\u00a0 moins encore celui, ethnocentrique, portant ses certitudes morales et techniques aux populations lointaines. Toutes ces exp\u00e9riences s\u2019inscrivent sous le signe de l\u2019\u00e9change et d\u2019une coop\u00e9ration mutuelle : que l\u2019objet soit ici ou ailleurs, de Ulaanbaatar \u00e0 Montreuil, la probl\u00e9matique abord\u00e9e est aussi signifiante pour les acteurs locaux que pour nos \u00e9quipes avec, en premier lieu une exigence p\u00e9dagogique partag\u00e9e. Aucun Atelier, c\u2019est une condition de sa mise en place, n\u2019est envisag\u00e9 de fa\u00e7on autonome et d\u00e9connect\u00e9 des institutions du pays, de nos homologues \u00e9trangers et d\u2019une proximit\u00e9 avec les populations. Il s\u2019agit de r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir ensemble, ailleurs et d\u2019y enrichir nos pratiques respectives.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #e0e0e0;\"> .<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><span style=\"color: #e0e0e0;\"> Plus que des solutions certifi\u00e9es, des conclusions d\u00e9finitives ou des doctrines inalt\u00e9rables, les Ateliers Internationaux de l\u2019ENSAPLV &#8211; reflets d\u2019une \u00e9poque inqui\u00e8te &#8211; sont soucieux d\u2019\u00e9laborer de justes questionnements et des processus de r\u00e9ponses partag\u00e9s.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #9595db;\">Travellers\u2019 time is when certainties regarding future models are affirmed. It gives way to a worldwide questionning about territory mutations, a desire of a recovered urbanity, the searching for alternative professional practices.<br \/>\nA new era and a new look at our property spaces like the industrial landscape which reveals their history, their wealth of meaning and their lyrical potential&#8230; But also their weakness and the promise of future housing. Beyond these themes, the way of thinking is far from the \u00ab Stendhalian \u00bb traveller whose feelings are gathered in his diary, or the ethnocentric one who brings to distant population his own moral and technical certainties. All these experiences fit into exchange programme and mutual cooperation.<br \/>\nFrom Ulaanbaatar to Montreuil, issues remain as significant for local actors as for our students who all share the same educational requirement.<br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><br \/>\nWorkshop cannot be disconnected or aside from countries institutions, our foreign partners and the population. It\u2019s about thinking together and increasing the wealth of our respective practices.<br \/>\nMore than certified solutions, final conclusions or stable theories, Ensaplv international workshops &#8211; trouble time mirror \u2013 are anxious to develop accurate questioning and shared answer process.<\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #9595db;\"> .<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><span style=\"color: #e0e0e0;\">Situation in\u00e9dite par son \u00e9chelle, il est heureux que le vent de l\u2019histoire nous pousse dans ce cheminement collectif, lequel ne serait possible sans la coop\u00e9ration transfrontali\u00e8re entre partenaires universitaires, collectivit\u00e9s qui nous accueillent et nous soutiennent ou encore l\u2019appui de nos Ambassades, l\u2019agence Nationale Europe Education Formation France, le minist\u00e8re de tutelle et les \u00e9quipes administratives qui construisent au quotidien ces \u00e9changes.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #e0e0e0;\"> Qu\u2019ils soient tous ici remerci\u00e9s pour l\u2019aide concr\u00e8te qu\u2019ils nous am\u00e8nent \u00e0 un moment o\u00f9 la conjoncture tr\u00e8s tendue de nos soci\u00e9t\u00e9s occidentales ne peut faire, paradoxalement, l\u2019\u00e9conomie d\u2019une r\u00e9flexion culturelle \u00e9largie sur la qualit\u00e9 de notre futur cadre de vie.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #9595db;\">The scale of these actions offers an unprecented situation. Si ces coop\u00e9rations ont pu concerner autrefois qu\u2019une partie des activit\u00e9s de l\u2019\u00e9cole, elles sont aujourd\u2019hui pr\u00e9sentes dans totalit\u00e9 des cursus. En cycle licence tous les \u00e9tudiants effectuent au moins un voyage d\u2019\u00e9tude \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tranger.<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-canvas-width=\"98.72000000000003\" data-angle=\"0\" data-font-name=\"g_font_1\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #e0e0e0;\">L\u2019ENSA de Paris-la-Villette offre ensuite \u00e0 chaque \u00e9tudiant\/e du cursus master un moment fort \u00e0 travers lequel il\/elle sera mis\/e en situation de confrontation avec un contexte international.<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-canvas-width=\"98.72000000000003\" data-angle=\"0\" data-font-name=\"g_font_1\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #e0e0e0;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-canvas-width=\"98.72000000000003\" data-angle=\"0\" data-font-name=\"g_font_1\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #e0e0e0;\">Cette mise en situation peut se r\u00e9aliser de diverses mani\u00e8res : un s\u00e9jour d\u2019\u00e9tudes de longue dur\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tranger dans le cadre des conventions d\u2019\u00e9changes d\u2019\u00e9tudiants \u00e9tablies avec des \u00e9tablissement partenaires \u00e9trangers, par le stage obligatoire effectu\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tranger ou par l\u2019int\u00e9gration \u00e0 un atelier ou un workshop international dont t\u00e9moigne la pr\u00e9sente publication.<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-canvas-width=\"144.59733333333335\" data-angle=\"0\" data-font-name=\"g_font_1\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #e0e0e0;\">Les moyens de communication num\u00e9riques facilitent aujourd\u2019hui non seulement la circulation des informations et des id\u00e9es, mais \u00e9galement les co-productions internationales, p\u00e9dagogiques, artistiques comme scientifiques. Elles conduisent \u00e0 la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 d\u2019une plus forte exigence qualitative, tout rel\u00e2chement pouvant favoriser un appauvrissement des confrontations entre cultures, m\u00e9thodes et savoirs. Au militantisme pour l\u2019ouverture culturelle d\u2019autrefois, s\u2019est ajout\u00e9e l\u2019exigence d\u2019un d\u00e9veloppement qualitatif des coop\u00e9rations, autour de sujets pr\u00e9cis, et par la constitution de r\u00e9seaux d\u2019\u00e9changes en enseignement et en recherche.<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-canvas-width=\"88.71466666666667\" data-angle=\"0\" data-font-name=\"g_font_1\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #e0e0e0;\">Nous sommes entr\u00e9s dans une conscience nouvelle de questions \u00e9mergeantes \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle mondiale dont toute tentative d\u2019approfondissement reste consid\u00e9r\u00e9e comme insuffisante d\u00e8s lors qu\u2019elle n\u2019articule pas les multiples points de vue que les coop\u00e9rations internationales rendent possibles. Ces coop\u00e9rations favorisent une prise de conscience large et partag\u00e9e de transformations profondes qui travaillent le monde contemporain. Au-del\u00e0 de la possibilit\u00e9 de travailler sur un projet commun et ainsi d\u2019appr\u00e9hender la culture des pays partenaires et leurs approches de l\u2019architecture et de l\u2019espace urbain, ces exp\u00e9riences permettent de fonder et de construire avec des apports \u00e9largis, une approche critique conditions de renouvellement des architectures et des villes \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle internationale.<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-canvas-width=\"119.4666666666667\" data-angle=\"0\" data-font-name=\"g_font_1\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">.<\/span><\/div>\n<div data-canvas-width=\"86.30400000000002\" data-angle=\"0\" data-font-name=\"g_font_1\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #9595db; font-size: 14pt;\">International Cooperation constitutes a fundamental aspect of the ENSA Paris-la-Villette project, the school presenting itself as an international institution. While these partnerships were once limited to specific activities of the school, they now include the entire curriculum. During their licence (Bachelor Degree), all students participate to a field trip at least once. Then, the ENSA Paris-la-Villette\u00a0 grants each master student with the opportunity of a decisive moment where he\/she will be confronted with an international experience. This situation can be set up in different ways: through long term mobility programs, in the framework of student exchange agreements with foreign partner-schools, through the possibility of performing their mandatory internship abroad or through the participation in an international workshop.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #9595db; font-size: 14pt;\">This publication is a testimony of the latter.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #9595db; font-size: 14pt;\">Nowadays, digital communication means not only help circulation of information and ideas, but also international co-productions, whether they are educational artistic or scientific. They call for of a greater qualitative demand, preventing a falling of\u00a0 in the confrontation of cultural approaches, methodology and knowledge. On top of our original struggle for cultural awareness, we now emphasize the need for a qualitative development of cooperation, structured around specific projects, and through the creation of exchange networks both in teaching and research.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #9595db; font-size: 14pt;\">We have reached a new consciousness concerning emerging worldwide issues, issues that remain only partially investigated without the necessary outlook of international collaborations, which allow for the articulation of different point of views.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #9595db; font-size: 14pt;\">This is the case of issues like :<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #9595db; font-size: 14pt;\">&#8211; the internationalisation of cultures, knowledge and skills<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #9595db; font-size: 14pt;\">&#8211; the scarcity of resources and the vulnerability of human habitat under change in environmental conditions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #9595db; font-size: 14pt;\">&#8211; the future of democratic\u00a0 societies faced with threats weighing on the renewal of their living environment, and more generally of space production.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #9595db; font-size: 14pt;\">But also:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #9595db; font-size: 14pt;\">&#8211; the economical and financial crisis that arose five years ago<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #9595db; font-size: 14pt;\">&#8211; the withdrawal of public policies in architecture and urban development<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #9595db; font-size: 14pt;\">&#8211; the transformation of urbanised territories since the second half of the twentieth century that has accompanied and perhaps encouraged the decline of urban cultures.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #9595db; font-size: 14pt;\">And in a third register:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #9595db; font-size: 14pt;\">&#8211; international identity in architecture ( world&rsquo;s global heritage, etc.), the study of architecture as a discipline (corpus, methodologies, cultures, history, territoriality, etc.) from an international perspective.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #9595db; font-size: 14pt;\">&#8211; Architecture, its teaching, its relation to a definite body of specific knowledge and to other knowledge and skills ( sciences and technics, plastic art and arts in general, human and social sciences, etc.), the various research productions on these subjects.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #e0e0e0;\">L\u2019identification et la formulation de questions autour desquelles une coop\u00e9ration internationale appara\u00eet de plus en plus indispensable, fait des ateliers internationaux des lieux et des moments particuli\u00e8rement pr\u00e9cieux. Ces coop\u00e9rations favorisent une prise de conscience large et partag\u00e9e de transformations profondes qui travaillent le monde contemporain. These co-operations allow for a global and shared consciousness of the deep transformations taht shape the world today.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #9595db; font-size: 14pt;\">These experiences provide opportunities to work on a common project,\u00a0 giving a full understanding of our partner countries&rsquo;culture, as well as of their approaches in architecture and urban spaces.
